EthoSource’s First Film Credit (More or Less)

“The Suspect,” a newly completed psychological thriller directed by Stuart Connelly, was filmed in and around Morgantown and French Creek State Park. The film centers on the martial arts idea that a strength can become a weakness which can be used against an opponent. Racism, the author says, is another central concept. Stepehn Coates composed the soundtrack, and the cast includes William Sadlet and Mekhi Phifer.

Connelly, who lives and writes in West Nantmeal and Manhattan, wrote the screenplay, and is currently working on a novel based on this script. This was his first experience directing.

The film has been submitted to Sundance and South by Southwest, but the creators of the film want to keep it “under the radar” till it airs. Reactions to working in our neighborhood have been very positive, and Connelly plans to continue making films here.

EthoSource didn’t come up with actors, make up artists, or sound engineers for the production, but we were able to do what we do best: provide furniture at a significant savings. For this service, we got a credit in a story in the TriCounty Record. This may be the closest we get to a film credit, so we’re celebrating it.

Do you need furniture that looks great, at a great price? Give us a call.
